Father, help me stay focused on the reward of living a life of righteousness. Help me by your spirit to live a life that is acceptable to you. When I face opposition, I will find rest that even your perfect Son was persecuted as well and I will take heart because He has overcome the world.

God, help me to remember and remind myself constantly of how you see me. You are pleased. You notice me. I will continue to do good, even if I never see the harvest here on earth. I will not give up, because you didn't give up on me when I was at my worst.
